Private Label & OEM/ODM Questions
General project and manufacturing questions
OEM and ODM routes can be discussed according to how complete the buyer’s brief is. OEM generally begins with clearer product, sample, artwork, formula, or packaging requirements, while ODM can include broader support organizing the scent, format, packaging, samples, and production plan.
Projects can include the product categories published on the Laeyo Fragrance website, such as private label perfume, eau de parfum, perfume oils, roll-on perfume, travel-size perfume, body mist, audience-led fragrances, and gift sets. Other scented formats require a project-specific feasibility review.
References can be used to communicate fragrance family, mood, audience, market position, or packaging direction. Laeyo Fragrance does not present protected formulas, trademarks, artwork, or bottle designs as items to copy.
MOQ, Samples & Pricing Questions
Minimum orders, samples, and project costs
MOQ depends on formula preparation, bottle and applicator supply, decoration, label or box production, scent count, gift-set structure, and production setup. Send a project brief for a product-specific starting point.
Cost depends on the fragrance direction, concentration, components, decoration, packaging, quantity, samples, documents, destination, and commercial scope. An initial quotation can be discussed after these assumptions are reviewed.
Sample development can be discussed before bulk production according to the product, scent direction, component availability, packaging requirements, and project stage. Sample scope, fees, timing, feedback, and approval references are confirmed by project.
Custom molds, component tooling, printing plates, decoration processes, artwork preparation, and low-volume setup may involve project-specific costs. Applicable charges are confirmed with the selected component and process route.
Formula & Scent Development Questions
Fragrance direction and sample development
A scent direction can begin with the target customer, market position, fragrance family, mood, reference preferences, product format, and buyer feedback. The applicable sampling and adjustment route is organized for the project.
Concentration and format depend on the intended product, scent direction, formula feasibility, packaging, target market, and applicable requirements. Final concentration is confirmed through the project and sample route.
Claim requirements must be raised before sampling. Feasibility depends on the selected formula, raw-material information, supplier documentation, target market, wording, and the evidence available for the finished project.
Timing depends on the complexity of the brief, reference clarity, number of scent directions, feedback rounds, formula adjustments, component readiness, and approval process. It is confirmed after the sampling route is defined.
Packaging & Branding Questions
Bottles, artwork, boxes, and presentation
Buyers can provide existing components or discuss available bottle, cap, pump, sprayer, label, box, insert, and gift-set routes. Practical options depend on component supply, quantity, process requirements, and project scope.
Capacity, material, shape, color, cap, pump, sprayer, surface finish, printing, coating, label, and other decoration routes can be reviewed according to availability, process requirements, quantity, and target cost.
Buyers can provide brand and artwork files. Laeyo Fragrance can discuss dimensions, dielines, print requirements, placement, finishes, and production preparation; the final creative and legal approval remains with the buyer.
Options may include folding cartons, inserts, sleeves, rigid gift boxes, discovery sets, multi-product sets, protective packing, and export cartons. Availability depends on structure, materials, quantity, printing, and packing needs.
Production, QC & Lead Time Questions
Production preparation and quality checkpoints
Timing depends on sample approval, component and material availability, artwork confirmation, quantity, production scheduling, quality checkpoints, documents, packing, and shipment preparation.
Available company, factory, production, quality, and document information can be reviewed through the About, Factory Capability, Private Label Process, and Trust Center pages. Visit or video-review requests can be discussed by appointment.
Applicable checkpoints can include sample-reference alignment, components, filling, sealing, spray performance, appearance, leakage risk, label and packaging review, final packing, and project records. The exact scope depends on the product and production stage.
No single process should be assumed for every project. Formula handling, resting or maturation steps, filling preparation, and production timing depend on the selected product, formula, process, and confirmed manufacturing route.
Documents, Shipping & Payment Questions
Compliance, export, logistics, and commercial terms
Export preparation can be discussed, but acceptance depends on the product, alcohol content, packaging, destination, importer, forwarder, carrier, route, and dangerous-goods requirements. It does not guarantee customs or carrier acceptance.
Availability can include company or factory certificates, SDS or MSDS, IFRA-related support, COA or batch files, specifications, and export-related information. The applicable set depends on the formula, product, packaging, batch, destination, and project stage.
Packing, carton details, shipping marks, project documents, and communication with an experienced forwarder can be discussed. Freight scope and responsibility are confirmed by project and do not guarantee clearance, carrier acceptance, transit time, or delivery.
Payment structure, currency, deposit, balance timing, banking details, and other commercial terms are confirmed in the project quotation or agreement. No fixed payment term should be assumed from the FAQ page.
