Use five minutes to prepare a first perfume inquiry. Fill in what you know and write “not sure” for open choices. This is the short preparation entry; the complete fragrance-brand guide covers the wider business roadmap.
What buyers should decide first
Copy these fields into your inquiry; the worksheet itself is not a submission form.

|---|---|
| Target market and channel | [Countries; retail/wholesale/online/other] |
| Product and sensory direction | [Perfume format; desired effect/reference and difference] |
| Fill size | [mL per bottle or not sure] |
| Bottle / closure / decoration / box | [Actual reference or open options] |
| Requested quantity | [Total bottles and proposed scent/size lines; subject to acceptance] |
| Budget | [Currency; total or per complete unit; included/excluded scope] |
| Required arrival date and destination | [Date; place; which deadline is fixed] |
| Sample / artwork status and approver | [What exists; decision owner and open items] |
| Business reply contact | [Name and business email supplied voluntarily] |
What affects quotation
Formula, fill, components, decoration, quantities, evidence needs and delivery scope affect the quote. Requested budgets and dates are review targets, not accepted terms. LAEYO’s confirmed perfume MOQ is 1,000 bottles; scent/SKU allocation and other-format minimums need confirmation.
Common mistakes
Do not invent a specification to fill a blank. Distinguish the requested arrival date from sample R&D or dispatch, and say whether the budget covers the complete pack and delivery. Use non-sensitive reference information first; agree any confidential file-sharing arrangements separately.
Next step
After the first inquiry, ask the supplier to identify missing inputs, feasible options and the basis for an initial quote. Agree sample type, quantity, fees/credit, permitted evaluation and shipping before a sample order. LAEYO’s approximate three-day sample R&D excludes communication, confirmation waits and shipping; it is not a delivery promise.

Illustrative Completed First Inquiry
Fictional planning example only: “We are preparing one personal-perfume line for U.S. online sales. We request 1,000 bottles at 50 mL, with an airy citrus-woody direction and less sweetness than our sensory reference. Please discuss an existing clear-glass bottle and compatible spray closure, a one-color label and folding carton; no model is selected. Our budget is not yet fixed: quote in USD per complete packed bottle, with development, tests/documents and delivery shown separately. Requested arrival is 1 June 2027 at our U.S. warehouse; the address and route are still to confirm and this date has not been accepted. No artwork or approved formula exists. Our brand project lead will consolidate feedback. Please confirm feasible scope, open technical/market reviews, sample quantities/fees and when a qualified quotation can be prepared.”
This example supplies decision inputs but does not prove a formula, component, claim or market approval. Add your real business reply details in the actual inquiry. For more line-level fields, use the first-inquiry RFQ worksheet.
