Product Positioning
A product route shaped around your market and brand
Use the reference development direction below to discuss the fragrance, format and presentation for the customers you want to reach.
What this product can become
A B2B floral/fresh/amber travel and gift-set brief for a buyer-defined audience and occasions. Six proposed 35 ml positions give 210 ml combined nominal contents to confirm. Choose the fragrance route, intended use and components for each position.
Who this route can support
- Brands defining floral/fresh/amber sample allocations
- Buyers comparing six-position travel/gift proposals
- Teams selecting project-specific formula, intended use and packaging
Build Around Your Brand
Build this product around your brand
Shape the scent, presentation and packaging route around your intended customer, channel and launch plan.
Sets the hook for dating, daily wear, and gifting without requiring many separate SKUs.
Assign actual sample/formula and component versions to each position; the proposed count and capacity do not establish a real six-fragrance BOM.
Compare spray amount, wetness and first impressions using approved samples under agreed conditions. Short video demonstrations do not establish application performance.
Adds gift and shelf appeal while keeping stock-bottle lead time manageable.
Makes the set gift-ready and TikTok-unboxing friendly.
Confirm actual availability, minimums, compatibility and approval dependencies rather than assuming faster market testing.

Product Decision Matrix
Compare the decisions that shape your product route
See what can be selected and how each choice affects product presentation, sampling or production planning.
| Custom Area | Available Directions | What It Means for Your Brand |
|---|---|---|
| Fragrance direction | Changes the dating/daily/gifting appeal and helps choose the hero scent. | |
| Bottle/capacity | Balances gift value and price point; travel-size lowers blind-buy risk. | |
| Spray/applicator | Impacts online demo, skin/hair feel, and perceived performance. | |
| Cap/decoration | Lifts perceived quality without changing the whole component set. | |
| Label/retail box | Determines gift readiness and TikTok unboxing impact. | |
| Packaging format | Sets whether the offer is a trial set, gift set, or layering system. | |
| Stock/custom route | Controls upfront cost, lead time, and brand differentiation. |

Questions Before You Start
Frequently asked questions
Useful answers for projects that are not fully specified yet.
Use this six-position travel/gift reference to develop your private label set. Select EDP or a hair/body-mist route, then agree the formula, intended use and packaging for each position. The travel/gift grouping describes the set format; it does not establish formula or use approval.
For positions 01–06 record the actual fragrance/sample code, formula/carrier and concentration, intended use, net contents and label version. Six proposed 35 ml bottles give 210 ml nominal total to confirm. Repeated fragrances, mixed formulas and final quantities need explicit acceptance.
Specify the bottle, sprayer, cap, label, insert and box for each position, including component quantities and the people approving them. Final formula and component specifications are agreed for your project.
Confirm total sets, total bottles, quantity per fragrance and component minimums before quoting timing. For a confirmed perfume project, the known minimum is 1,000 bottles and is not a per-SKU or per-set minimum; any split requires acceptance. It is not an automatic body-mist minimum.
