Fragrance & Product Development

Explore practical fragrance product development guides for private label perfume brands. Learn how to turn a brand concept into a clear fragrance brief, choose scent directions and concentration levels, select suitable product formats, evaluate samples, and plan a production-ready fragrance collection.

These resources help startups, retailers, importers, distributors, and established brands understand how product positioning, target customers, formula choices, packaging, MOQ, cost, testing, and target markets affect fragrance development decisions.

Build a brief, compare samples, record approval

  1. Start with the fragrance brief worksheet and define the intended product, market and scent direction.
  2. Use the sample feedback worksheet to record observations and prioritize the next change.
  3. Complete the sample evaluation and approval record before treating a version as the agreed reference.

Copyable brief fields: project and version; intended use and audience; target market; scent direction and unwanted facets; reference sample; format and pack; requested quantity; timing; feedback owner.

Copyable evaluation fields: sample ID/version; evaluator/date; agreed method and dose; medium and conditions; observation time; result observed; what should stay; priority change; open questions; approval owner and decision.

Next choose a format-specific development path: perfume oil, roll-on perfume or Body Mist. Confirm suitability and any use evaluation with the responsible technical reviewer.

How to Get Your Samples in 4 Steps

Custom sample development for B2B brand OEM/ODM projects, with scope, fees, and timing confirmed before work begins.

  1. Contact Us

We support B2B brand OEM/ODM projects only, with no own-brand retail products or off-the-shelf stock. Perfume bulk orders start at 1,000 bottles. Contact us to discuss your requirements, budget, and sample development scope.

  2. Share Your Requirements

Share your requirements and expectations, including performance, texture, scent, color, ingredient preferences, packaging, and target market. We will provide an initial consultation and tailored recommendations.

  3. Pay Sample & Shipping Fees

Sample and shipping fees are confirmed before work begins. The sample fee is fully credited toward a bulk order of at least 1,000 bottles. Pricing varies by item, quantity, and shipping destination.

  4. Receive, Test & Review

Sample R&D takes approximately 3 days, excluding time spent on client communication and waiting for confirmation, as well as shipping time. Dispatch and delivery timing are confirmed separately. After you receive and test the samples, we will review your feedback and discuss the next steps.
